Payment
Wisconsin Surgery Center provides the highest quality care at the lowest possible cost.

Your bill from Wisconsin Surgery Center will include facility charges for the use of the pre-operative room, operating room, recovery room, nursing staff, and any supplies used for the surgical procedure. You will receive a separate bill for your surgeon's services, as well as a separate bill for anesthesiologist's services.

Wisconsin Surgery Center is approved by Medicare and Medicaid. We also accept most HMO's and many other health plans. Many patients are covered by health insurance contracts which provide for reimbursements for medical fees. If you are not familiar with your policy, it is suggested that you discuss coverage with your carrier before you incur any charges. All insurance policies are contracts between you and your insurance carrier. Your doctor's bills are also between you and your physician. Our fees may be more or less than the payment schedule used by your insurance carrier. You are personally responsible for full payment of fees, regardless of any insurance company's arbitrary determination of Usual and Customary fees.

Our staff is available to answer questions and help you with your payment plan prior to surgery.

As a courtesy, we will submit insurance claims for you. If patient's insurance requires a referral, it is the responsibility of patients to obtain one from their primary care physician prior to their appointment.

All non-covered services are due and payable at the time of your appointment. Fees for cosmetic procedures will be due on the date of the surgery. We accept cash, checks, Visa and Master Card.

Due to the number of insurance plans, we recommend that you contact your insurance company if you have specific questions regarding your coverage. Our fees are not included with the surgeons' and/or anesthesiologists'. After surgery we will file insurance claims for you (as long as you have provided us with copies of your current insurance cards). Any amounts not covered by your insurance, such as deductibles or co-insurance, will be collected on the day of surgery.
